Victoria Beckham Denim Spring 2010

Relaunched and Renamed, Victoria Beckham has given us a complete look at her new denim range for Spring 2010. The new line features many different styles of denim including skinny, shorts, boyfriend, and legging styles. She has also introduced hardware such as studs, zippers, and patches to give the denim an edge. Aside from the many variations of denim bottoms Mrs.Beckham includes denim vests and jackets in the spring 2010 range.

I LOVE the new collection and love how she took it to the next level by turing denim into "fashion" with the hardware, different cuts and washes and fabrications. Its not your mommas jean collection, its new innovative and fresh! It will no doubt be as successful as the dress collection!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS ALOUD

Seven years ago today, the UK chose 5 girls from a TV talent show called Popstars: The Rivals to became part of the biggest girl group in UK chart history... Girls Aloud. 21 consecutive top 10 singles, 4 of which were number 1, 6  platinum albums and a BRIT award for Best 2009 single "The Promise" later and nothing has changed and the Girls are still on top. No girl group stays the same forever and thats been proven time and time again by groups like The Supremes, The Go-Go's, Destiny's Child, The Spice Girls, Danity Kane and The Sugababes. Most girls bands either last 1 or 2 albums and then someone wants a solo career, or the line up changes so much every time a new video comes out there is a different girl singing the chorus. Girls Aloud are the only group to maintain the original line up and release 6 albums year after year and never stop. Only this year is the first year since there formation that they wont release an album and with good reason because after 6 albums and 21 videos the girls need a break!! Not only has no girl left the group, but there also from a REALITY show!! What group from a reality show do you know now??? Danity Kane broke up and Edens Crush didn't evan make it past 1 single. The Girls are part of Guinness World Records as "Most Successful Reality TV Group" & "Most Consecutive Top 10 Entires in the UK by a Female Group". They've signed a new deal with Polydor Records to release 3 more albums and none of the girls show any signs of stopping. The group has earned the success and respect they deserve after 7 years and I couldn't be prouder of them!! Seven years ago Cheryl Tweedy was singing live every week and getting judged by Louis Walsh and Geri Halliwell on her performance now Cheryl Cole is Britians sweetheart with a Number 1 single and album under her belt, sits next to Louis Walsh every saturday night on The X Factor and judges aspiring pop stars on their performance. So to Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts I say Happy Birthday and I Love You all soooo much please never stop!

90210 star Shenae Grimes has sick street style. Its very laid back, effortless, and casual . She has totally adapted to the California whether but still keeps it cozy and warm by layering, or adding a scarf. I guess you can take the girl out of Canada, but cant take the Canada out of the girl. She is obviously TOTALLY obsessed with that black patent leather bag, she carries it ALL the time. I couldn't find out if it was by Foley & Corinna or Roots.  Either way I admire her style and think she is a pretty cool girl.

Its not as Pop as Good Girl Gone Bad, but its still gonna be a hit. I enjoy it, its a darker Rihanna. She is in the midst of a sexual revolution, she says its called Rated R because its "her little movie" I say its Rated R because its dirty, dark, and raunchy. Rock-n-B is what I would call this album, Its a look/phase in her career. Just like Madonna, Rihanna re-invents herself album after album. Regardless of how you interpret it, its still Rated Rihanna.

Rihanna for Glamour Magazine

As well as First Lady Michelle Obama, Rihanna also graces the Glamour Magazine December "Woman of The Year" issue. She looks RADIANT on the cover wearing a strapless little Balmain number! In the issue Rihanna opens up about the past year, her new album Rated R and her relationship with Chris Brown.

It was humiliating; that is not a photo you would show to anybody. I felt completely taken advantage of. I felt like people were making it into a fun topic on the Internet, and it’s my life. I was disappointed, especially when I found out the photo was [supposedly leaked by] two women.

Message to young woman

Domestic violence is a big secret. No kid goes around and lets people know their parents fight. Teenage girls can’t tell their parents that their boyfriend beat them up. You don’t dare let your neighbor know that you fight. It’s one of the things we [women] will hide, because it’s embarrassing. My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women.

Finding love

I hope I find love in the next 10 years—that will be pretty annoying if I am 31 and still have never been in love! But yeah, I’d like to be in a great place in both my personal life and my career. I still want to be doing what I love. Whatever that is in 10 years, I don’t know.
