Behind The Scenes- Dawn Richard - Kontrol Magazine Sexy Body Issue



Last month I had the pleasure to work with THE AMAZING Dawn Richard when Julian Lark and I styled her for Kontrol Magazines Sexy Body Issue. Dawn was really one of the coolest girls thta I've had the chance to style. She is such a hard working woman with a free spirit. I really didnt expect to love her as much as I did, if im being 100% honest lol. When Danity Kane broke up and she joined Diddy in Dirty Money, it left a bad taste in my mouth considering it was Diddy who broke Danity Kane up. I was so surprised to meet Dawn and instantly fall in love with her. We shot some pretty risque shots of her for the issue, showing lots of skin, and that sexy body of hers. I'm not sure what will make the final cut for the issue, but whichever shots they are, they'll be dope. The Sexy Body Issue starring Dawn Richard, and Tank hits Barnes & Noble bookstores everywhere next week! Dominique Reighard for Kontrol Magazine Summer Issue

A couple of months ago I assisted on a shoot with Americas Next Top Model Cycle 10 & All Star's contestant Dominique Reighard for the Kontrol Magazine Summer Issue. We shot her here in Atlanta at a BEAUTFIUL locaton off of the river. We shot a total of 4 or 5 looks some in the water, and some on the beautiful rocks. I havent seen the full spread yet so I'm not sure what looks will be publishd. This is just a preview, the full issue comes out next week with Dawn Richards & Tank on the cover, you can buy Kontrol at any Barnes & Nobles store or online at KontrolMag.com =)

Celebrating Tyra's Birthday!

two weeks ago I went out with a bunch of friends to celebrate our friend Tyra's 21st birthday. We all met up at Shout! for dinner in midtown. After dinner we went to this bar called te Buckhead Saloon to finish up the celebrations. I had a great time with great friends and what made it even better is that everyone looked amazing!! there'snothing better than a gorgeous night out with gorgeous people!! =)

Room Tour - Best Friend Vi's Beauty Room - Interior Design



Last summer my bestfriend Vi and I decdeid to turn her guest bedroom into her "Beauty Room". It took about a full week to empty the guest room, clean, paint, shop, and decorate the new room. The goal was to make the toom feel ULTRA FEMININE while staying on a reasonable budget. Most of the items we purchased came from Ikea, and Target with a few things from ROSS, Marshalls, and T.J.Maxx. If I can remember correctly the room didnt cost more than $400.00, which I think is a great deal for a complete room makeover! I really should have taken some before shots as well but we got into the makeover so quick and I never got around to it. Its been about a year since the inital makeover and I FINALLY got to taking some pictures of the finished product. Like I said, the room was pretty inexpensive to create and everything minus the couch was purchased brand new! If you have ANY questions about anything at all, just let me know =) I hope you all like what Vi and I were able to create with this room and get a little inspired to create a Beauty Room for yourself! =)

Victoria Beckham is featured as the May 2012 cover girl for Harper's Bazaar UK. In the issue Victoria is photographed by Camilla Akrans and styled by Sissy Vian wearing a Prada swimsuit among other brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Jimmy Choo, and Rochas. The hair is voluminous! the lashes long! thanks to hair stylist Alain Pichon and make-up artist Yumi Mori. You can pick up the issue internationally, celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee!!

i love LOVE CULTURE handbags!

Who has heard of LOVE CULTURE? It's a fairly new retailer I think... but they have some great handbags! The store is basically like a Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe but there is something about their purse & wallet options! I have seen some gurus haul some of their products on YouTube and I've always been impressed with the purses I have seen. I decided to check out their website to see for myself the options and prices and I was thoroughly impressed. Obviously these handbags are inexpensive and won't be THE BEST quality in the world but considering the look and the price, I think they're great! As long as you take good care of anything you buy, no matter the quality, they'll last you longer.
