Room Tour - Best Friend Vi's Beauty Room - Interior Design



Last summer my bestfriend Vi and I decdeid to turn her guest bedroom into her "Beauty Room". It took about a full week to empty the guest room, clean, paint, shop, and decorate the new room. The goal was to make the toom feel ULTRA FEMININE while staying on a reasonable budget. Most of the items we purchased came from Ikea, and Target with a few things from ROSS, Marshalls, and T.J.Maxx. If I can remember correctly the room didnt cost more than $400.00, which I think is a great deal for a complete room makeover! I really should have taken some before shots as well but we got into the makeover so quick and I never got around to it. Its been about a year since the inital makeover and I FINALLY got to taking some pictures of the finished product. Like I said, the room was pretty inexpensive to create and everything minus the couch was purchased brand new! If you have ANY questions about anything at all, just let me know =) I hope you all like what Vi and I were able to create with this room and get a little inspired to create a Beauty Room for yourself! =)

Celebrating Natasha & My Sisters Birthdays

Last week was full of celebration! It was my one of my best friend Natasha's 21st Birthday and we celebrated all week long. First on her birthday (9/13) we went to dinner one of my favorite sushi places in Atlanta, Ru'Sans. In the first picture im wearing a button up from Heritage 1981, jeans from H&M and my fedora is from Target (Natasha's dress is also from Target). Then we went to dinner Friday night at another great restaurant, this time mexican, called Uncle Julio's Casa Grande. My outfit is totally from H&M (Black shirt and jacket, grey pants, and black shoes), Natasha's dress is from Bloomingdales, her boots are by Steve Maden, and I got her necklace from Icing (believe it or not!). Finally we ended the celebration by going out to our favorite spot on saturday night. My black leather jacket is from Heritage 1981. I had a great time last week and finished it off on Sunday back at Uncle Julios for my sisters birthday.

My cardigan is from H&M, and my sisters dress is from Marshalls (I Think).

Besties In The City 2

A couple nights ago Terrrance, Natasha, and I went out to Atlantic Station to go see Sex And The City 2. It was the second time I saw it, the first time I went by myself, and it was evan better this time!! There was two funny ass guys behind us who were cracking us up the whole time! If you haven't seen SATC2 you must stop everything your doing and go, now. Don't compare it to the 1st movie, because it brings a totally different vibe, but was still a really good movie in its own right. The fashions as always were impeccable, thanks to Patricia Fields, and the movie overall was extravagant just the way I like it.
