Review :: Victoria Beckham Spring/Summer 2011

Another GREAT collection from my HBIC Victoria Beckham. The collection was presented a few days ago in NYC and it was Victoria's 5th fashion collection to date. The biggest difference in this range from previous ones is the absence of corsets in the dresses. Victoria herself became very well known for wearing the tightest of tight dresses and infused that same idea in her collection, but not this one. The first look was a purple loosely fitted top which set the tone for the rest of the show perfectly. Only one look featured a corset, a big change from the last 4 collections. Another big improvement was the addition of handbags. Beckham added 4 style of handbags to this spring/summer collection including her new signature bag "The Victoria" as well as clutches, flap bags, & a oversized mens/travel bag fit for David. Every dress for me is so pretty and i adore the entire collection but the stand-outs for me have to be look 3 (the black gown with the high slit), look 7 (the blush colored floor length gown), look 15 & 16 (the purple and grey short "caged" dresses), and all the white dresses but look 23  especially (because she is carrying the travel bag which im LUSTING over). So until next season look-out for Victoria as well as many of Hollywoods elite rooking one of these fabulous dresses from her spring/summer 2011 collection.
